Why I joined Theta Xi:When you first come to Montclair, college will be fun, and making friends is pretty easy. For example, one could dorm, party in Bohn Hall and the LAX house, and make it out with a solid crew of friends. Next year comes around, some of your friends transfer, some don't do so well academically, and you might never see them again. Soon enough you're a junior, doing decently in school, but there comes a point where you're living in a suite with your three best friends and classes are just getting more difficult. Graduation comes around, your family, your friends, and all your supporters are there to see you. You look around you, you are familiar with some of your peers, you walk and its over. Especially with how employment rates are these days. I have 240 other people I will always have that connection with for life. As if now, I've found myself in numerous circumstances where I could turn to the alumni and active chapter, like wise. One could be surprised how strong a brotherhood can be, and the people you will meet through Greek Life. Don't let college go to waste, because soon it'll be all over, and then that's when the fun ends.

Favorite Thing about Theta Xi: My favorite thing about Theta Xi I would have to say that my favorite thing about Theta Xi is how everyone's unique quirks and oddities are embraced. No one is held to any sort of standard or expectation which creates a positive and proactive environment that rewards hard work with invaluable experiences and opportunities. Theta Xi is a brotherhood based on virtue and moral code, and I wake up every morning feeling honored and privileged to be a part of it.
Why I joined Theta Xi: I joined Theta Xi because I wasn't looking to merely be accepted; I wanted to legitimately belong somewhere. I saw Theta Xi as an amplifier for my academic and social endeavors. I also admired the cordiality and courtesy with which everyone conducted themselves both to new and aspiring members as well as members from other orgs. I admired the work hard-play hard dynamic of the fraternity as well as the mutual respect and loyalty that existed among the active members and alumni alike.
